The Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) continues on ESPN in October, wrapping up the sixth edition of what is considered the most prestigious prize in domestic cricket. Mohali, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Raipur in India are hosting this year's edition, which opened on September 13 and wraps on October 4. The tournament has retained last year's format, with 12 teams vying for total prize money of $6 million.
As the world's richest club cricket tournament, this event spotlights the best domestic T20 teams in the sport. Leading the lineup is Barbados Tridents for the West Indies, winners of the 2014 Caribbean Premier League, who are joined by four teams from India, two each from Australia and South Africa and one each from Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.

In other cricket action, October also features the start of the West Indies Tour of India, where the West Indies will play three Tests, five ODIs and a T20I against one of the strongest sides in world cricket. This is the West Indies third tour to India in the last four years, and they'll be looking to play sharp and improve on past performances.
The five ODIs will be played October 8 to October 20 in various locations including Kochi, Kolkata and Dharamshala, followed by the only T20 October 22 in Delhi and the three tests, to be played in late October and continuing in November.
