ESPN SportsNation

SportsNation is a show for the modern sports fan, involving them in the day's hottest topics in sports via online polls to get a pulse of the nation which jumpstart debates.

The show takes an off-beat look at sports, does not take itself too seriously and each day presents the internet's most hilarious viral videos. The show also weaves pop culture and celebrity guests into a fast-paced hour unlike any other.

COLIN COWHERD
ESPN SportsNation Co-Host

Colin Cowherd is host of ESPN Radio's The Herd with Colin Cowherd, broadcast nationally 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET Monday-Friday from ESPN Radio's studios in Bristol, Conn., and simulcast on ESPNU. He also is co-host of SportsNation, a one-hour, live studio show weekdays at 4 p.m. on ESPN2.

Cowherd joined ESPN Radio in 2004 when The Herd launched 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with a West Coast-only hour airing from 6-7 a.m. Pacific. The Herd features topical commentary on the day's most important sports news, perspective on the top stories, interviews with the biggest newsmakers, and entertaining daily segments including "Spanning the Globe."

Colin has adapted parts of his radio show onto other platforms, including a version of "Spanning the Globe" on ESPN's SportsCenter, and his opening rant presented with video on ESPN360.com. The Herd frequently originates from the site of sports biggest events, including the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Game.

Colin also has hosted various programs for ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN Classic.
Cowherd joined ESPN Radio from KFXX 910-AM "The Fan" in Portland, Ore., where he hosted the popular three-hour morning drive program, The Herd. He also anchored weeknight sports and "Sports Sunday" for KGW Northwest NewsChannel 8.

Cowherd's experience includes serving as sports anchor at Tampa's WTVT-TV, where he received a local Sports Emmy for Buc Sunday, and as sports director at KVBC-TV in Las Vegas, where he earned multiple Nevada Sportscaster of the Year awards. He began his career as the play-by-play voice for the Pacific Coast League's Las Vegas Stars.

MICHELLE BEADLE
ESPN SportsNation Co-Host

Michelle Beadle joined ESPN on June 1, 2009, as co-host with Colin Cowherd of the studio show SportsNation on ESPN2 after spending time with 1050 ESPN New York as the New York SportsCenter anchor for ESPN Radio's The Michael Kay Show. She also is the co-host alongside Marcellus Wiley for Winners Bracket, part of the new ESPN Sports Saturday on ABC, set to debut April 3.

Beadle, who was the pre- and postgame reporter for the New Jersey Nets, also has been a studio anchor, reporter and host for the YES Network on shows such as the Emmy Award-winning Ultimate Road Trip; SportsLife NYC; and Yankees on Deck.

In addition to her work at YES, Michelle was hired in 2007 by People Magazine and People.com, for which she hosts the online feature What You Missed over the Weekend. She has been a Red Carpet reporter for the Golden Globes, Grammy Awards, SAG Awards and the Tony Awards, and contributed for People Magazine on television, appearing on The Today Show, The Early Show, Extra, Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight.

Michelle has been the host for Major League Baseball Production's magazine show Cathedrals of the Game, which brings viewers an inside look at baseball's most historic stadiums and venues. She was a feature reporter for the NFL Films syndicated program NFL Under the Helmet, which gave an up-close look at the players, coaches and fans of the NFL.

Beadle previously was a primary host and anchor for College Sports Television (CSTV), where she co-hosted the network's flagship program, The #1 College Sports Show, in addition to CSTV pre- and postgame sports shows and specials.

Also, she hosted the Animal Planet series Animal Planet Report; co-hosted the Travel Channel's Beach Week series; hosted the Discovery Channel reality series Get Packing and the network's one-hour specials Inside Orlando's Resorts and Outrageous Room Service; and hosted I Want Your Job, an original series on the Fine Living Network.

Beadle got her start in television as a reporter for the San Antonio Spurs and Fox Sports Net (Big Game Hunters) and soon moved on to TNN, now known as Spike TV, where she worked as a sideline reporter on the network's coverage of Professional Bull Riding (PBR). During her time at TNN, Michelle also worked freelance as a reporter for ESPN's Titan Games and CBS Sports on its coverage of the PBR.

Michelle, who now splits time between New York City and Hartford, Conn., is a graduate of University of Texas-San Antonio.
