The PGA Tour from the Ocean Course

The PGA Tour lights up August with LIVE coverage on ESPN2 of the season's fourth major, the PGA Championship. U.S. player Keegan Bradley looked done for last year after he fell off the pace on the 15th hole, but the tough rookie birdied the next two holes, caught Jason Dufner and won the PGA Championship in a three-hole playoff. This year's event, the 94th, promises to be equally heart-stopping.

While England's Luke Donald and Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy have continued to swap off the No.1 spot in the world golf rankings every couple of weeks, a familiar name has quietly slid back into contention, a former No. 1 by the name of Tiger Woods (who also happens to be a four-time PGA Championship winner). Woods' win at the Memorial Tournament in early June tied him with Jack Nicklaus for the most career wins, 73, on the PGA Tour while moving him to fourth in the world rankings behind Donald, McIlroy and England's Lee Westwood.

ESPN2's golf coverage this month features the PGA Championship airing LIVE August 9 - 12.

Schedule: LIVE coverage

Aug 10 02:00pm PGA Championship - Second Round
Aug 11 02:30pm PGA Championship - Third Round
Aug 12 02:30pm PGA Championship - Final Round

The LPGA on ESPN2 - the Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola

The spectacular level of play on the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) Tour continues to give golf fans a season of competitive, entertaining viewing. ESPN2 presents coverage this month of the Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola, won last year by Norway's Suzann Pettersen, who rallied from nine shots back to defeat South Korea's Na Yeon Choi on the first playoff hole.

Both are highly-ranked on the Tour this season, joined by U.S. pro Stacy Lewis, Japan's Ai Miyazato, South Korea's I.K. Kim and Jiyai Shin, and the Tour's dominant force, Taiwan's Yani Tseng, who by late June had spent 71 weeks atop the Rolex Rankings. A new face has also emerged as Shanshan Feng became the first Chinese player to win an LPGA Tour title and a major with her win at the Wegmans LPGA Championship.

Coverage of the Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola airs August 18 - 20.
