Turkey 1-2 Czech Republic

The Czech Republic made it two wins from two in European Championship qualifying Group A with a 2-1 win over Turkey in Istanbul on Friday night.
Umut Bulut put Turkey ahead early but Tomas Sivok grabbed an equaliser and Borek Dockal grabbed the winner to send the Czechs joint top of the pool.
It is a different story for Turkey who have yet to claim a point under new boss Claudio Ranieri who may already be feeling the pressure.
The home side were ahead after just eight minutes as Bulut rose highest to get a flicked header on Caner Erkin's delivery and send the ball past the despairing Petr Cech.
Olcay Sahan and Selcuk Inan then both had chances to double the lead and they were made to pay for missing them as the Czechs equalised just eight minutes after going behind.
Tomas Rosicky's shot was blocked behind and when Ladislav Krejci delivered the resulting corner, Sivok was on hand to head home.
Both sides were trying to get forward but it was Turkey who had the better of the chances and they came close to taking the lead just before the break as Erkin hit the post with a free-kick shortly after Cech had saved from Bulut.
The visitors made the better start to the second half and were rewarded when they took the lead in the 58th minute.
Pavel Kaderabek managed to find some space on the right and he cut the ball back to Borek Dockal who slotted home with a cool, side-footed finish.
Going behind brought the Turks to life and they brought two saves from Cech in as many minutes around the hour mark as they pressed for an equaliser.
The hosts continued to have the better of it in the closing stages but they could not find a way past Cech and find themselves bottom of Group A.
